How can you get involved with Connections to Success? 
You can donate clothing or organize a clothing drive, volunteer with our organization or help make our wishes come true. See below for more details, or contact:

 VOLUNTEER

From the very beginning, Connections to Success has been a volunteer-driven organization. We depend on the time and talent of hundreds of people each year to help us deliver our mission. Volunteer opportunities exist in every location and program we run.

In the St. Louis Region we are in particular need of:

Childcare Coordinators (2 hours) Provide childcare (and coordinate ConnectKids activities) during our Monday Night Connect Group

Mock Interviewers – (9-11:30 a.m. on scheduled Fridays) Provide feedback and advice to individuals seeking employment

Mentors – Empower a participant to change their life by providing an ongoing support network

Participant retention advocate– (1-2 hours)- make weekly calls to share news and upcoming events with our participants and potential new participants.

Personal Shoppers with Dress for Success Midwest – (Monday & Friday, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.) Assist the Dress for Success Midwest or participants as they are clothed for their upcoming interviews and new jobs 

Clothing Sorters for Dress for Success Midwest – (Monday & Friday, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.) Help us sort, hang, organize and display the beautiful donations that come in for our boutique!

Meal Provider (as an individual or a group) – (1-2 hours) Provide and share lunch for our Personal & Professional Development Class or dinner for our Monday Night Connect Group. Click here to view the guidelines!

Driver– (4 hours)-provide assistance in picking up our participants for Monday Night Connect

In the Kansas City Region we are in particular need of:

Guest Facilitator – (anytime Weekdays 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. or Saturdays 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.) Help facilitate one of the modules in our Personal and Professional Development Class, or our weekly Connect Group. Teach an important skill related to work readiness or healthy relationships.

Mock Interviewers – (9-11 a.m., one Friday per month) Provide feedback and advice to individuals seeking employment

Mentors – Empower a participant to change their life by providing an ongoing support network. Attend one of our mentoring events and make a connection!

Personal Shoppers with Dress for Success Kansas City – (Tuesday-Thursday, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.) Assist the Dress for Success Kansas City or participants as they are clothed for their upcoming interviews and new jobs

Clothing Sorters for Dress for Success Kansas City – (Monday & Friday, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.) Help us sort, hang, organize and display the beautiful donations that come in for our boutique!
