Aisha Williams, Life Transformation Coach Kansas City

Aisha Williams
Life Transformation Coach
Kansas City Region

Aisha Williams has been part of the Connections to Success team for over a year. She works as a Life Transformation Coach (LTC)  in the Kansas City area, empowering others and spreading hope.

Supporting Transformations as an LTC

As an LTC, Aisha works alongside people who have completed our Personal and Professional Development Training. During the course, trainees create Life Plans that outline their goals in areas like employment, education, housing, health and family. After training, alumni pair up with a personal LTC, like Aisha, who offers guidance as they take concrete steps toward those goals.

This can take the form of one-on-one meetings, phone check-ins, emails, texts and other support services. Communication and relationship building are key. As an LTC, Aisha helps people transform their lives and those of their family members as they advance toward their goals. One woman she worked with, Simone, set a goal to graduate from culinary school. She put in hard work and graduated top of her class. Simone also completed a customer service training with us, earning an industry-recognized certification. She’s now collaborating with entrepreneurs and continuing to pursue her professional goals.

Aisha says seeing people change their lives motivates her, and she shares one of her professional goals is to always be the best coach she can be. She also aims to bring joy and hope to someone else each day.

Adapting to COVID-19 and Staying Focused

Serving as an LTC is a very relational role, even as we practice physical distancing in light of COVID-19. For Aisha, this has meant moving from face-to-face and group interactions to phone calls and other forms of communication. As more people face unemployment and added challenges due to the pandemic, Aisha’s work as an LTC remains vitally important. She says she’s stayed focused while working remotely by having a plan and schedule for the day and setting a goal to reach each day.

Practicing Gratitude

At Connections to Success, we cultivate gratitude by sharing things we’re thankful for each day. Aisha shares she’s grateful for serenity despite circumstances. Though she has a lot going on, she values achieving balance and finding peace.

We’re thankful to have Aisha on the team!!
