Barbara’s (Barb) passion to dig deep into the community to find donors who can support Connections to Success makes a perfect fit as our Senior Director of Donor Relations (Kansas City region) and Dress for Success Kansas City. With 10+ years experience in the development field, Barbara has raised more than 3 million dollars over the course of her career. With an Associate’s Degree in Hospitality Management from Penn Valley Community College and a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration from the University of New Orleans, Barbara is armed with the knowledge and experience to get the job done.

 

Before working in Donor Relations, Barbara and her first husband owned several restaurants in Kansas City and a catering business in Westport. Though Barbara no longer owns the restaurants, when her schedule allows she still loves to cater for friends and former clients.

 

When Barbara isn’t helping people in the community, she enjoys traveling, going on cruises and spending time with her large, blended family. Barbara has three sons, and her husband, Tom, has three sons and a daughter, and 14 grandchildren. She also stays involved in the community by volunteering in the Catholic parishes in her community. Barbara is also very active. She enjoys running, golf, and loves to soak up the sun and swim.
