Connections to Success exists to empower individuals, families and communities. We work alongside people of all backgrounds to equip them with the resources and connections they need to reach their goals and move toward economic independence and stability.   Whether you face challenges related to finances, incarceration, domestic violence, unemployment or are just struggling to find direction – we are here to support you along the journey.
Through intensive research and years of experience, we’ve developed engaging programs that have a real impact in areas like:

At Connections to Success, we work alongside people, mentoring them as they move toward their goals, dreams and economic independence. In our programs, we focus on active learning, relevant topics and ongoing mentoring to empower those who participate to reach their full potential.
We offer multiple programs in the St. Louis and Kansas City regions. Please note that some programs are only offered at specific locations and times may vary.

  • Personal and Professional Development Class

     

    This engaging class equips participants with the tools and resources to progress toward their personal and professional goals. What you’ll gain as a participant:

  • Professional Women’s Group (PWG)

     We provide our network of women the partnership of support, practical information and inspiration to achieve self-defined success in career and life.  Members attend a monthly meeting to will receive two key elements, an expert speaker leading an informational discussion on a career development topic and networking time.

  • Mock Interviews

    Each monthly PMG meeting features an expert guest speaker who presents on professional development topics to help participants become leaders in their current job or advance in a new career.

     We offer assistance with interviewing skills. Mock interviews are provided for our participants who are completing the Personal and Professional Development Training. Volunteer employers spend approximately 30 minutes asking interview questions and providing helpful feedback to prepare for real interviews in the future.

  • Career Connections

     We host a Toastmasters club that helps members improve their communication, public speaking and leadership skills.

     These workshops focus on employment topics that will help attendees start a career or develop professionally.

  • Connect Group

     

    We invite past and present participants to join us for a free dinner and an evening of fun and learning. Families are welcome and childcare is provided. These gatherings offer ongoing connection and more opportunities to build professional, educational and healthy relationship skills in a welcoming environment.

  • Dress for Success Midwest and Kansas City

     

    A personal shopper will help you find complimentary professional clothing in one of our boutiques for your upcoming job interview or new position.
