Bring Pathways to Success to your community!

Improve outcomes and positively impact your community.

Our ultimate goal at Connections to Success is to scale the impact of our organization. Through the replication efforts of our Pathways to Success model we have been able to do just that. We are working with organizations in their own communities and showing them how our model can help improve outcomes and positively impact their community!

Our Pathways to Success model offers solutions to many of the challenges that communities face when working with low-income individuals and families. With an innovative approach to customized implementation and ongoing technical support, we are confident that the Pathways to Success model can be successfully implemented in your community.

Our customized implementation plans accommodate new and existing programs, both government and non-government entities, and our team will work with you to tailor the scope of work and performance measures with consideration for your unique context. The Pathways to Success model is particularly effective in working with like-minded organizations and with various government assistance programs including Social Services, Child Support and Workforce Development. Partnering with Connections to Success will equip and inspire individuals and families in your community to move from a place of dependence to independence.

Personal & Professional Development (PPD)
Our proprietary curriculum brings together the best of workforce development and cognitive behavioral intervention strategies to create a unique, experiential and highly effective training that produces confident, dedicated, work-ready participants with individualized Life Plans. This highly interactive and community building approach will excite and equip staff to deliver curriculum in a way that increases participant retention and success.
Connections to Success utilizes the Responsible Fatherhood, Young Mothers and Parents, and Relationships Skills for Strong Families curricula offered by the National Partnership for Community Leadership. Connections to Success staff are certified to promote success in working with parents from diverse backgrounds and community settings. This component of the program helps strengthen sense of self and relationships, improving personal and generational outcomes.
Our unique approach to delivering individual support and resources assists participants in achieving the goals in their Life Plans, accessing community supports and overcoming barriers to success. Connections to Success staff trains local staff around coaching practices and helps to develop a network of local resources needed to break the cycle of economic dependence by eliminating common barriers and maximizing the strengths of the community.
Local staff are trained to provide a full array of assistance to participants in identifying job opportunities; preparing for interviews; scheduling and attending interviews.  Local staff will also be trained in job coaching techniques that focus on utilizing soft skills needed for participants to obtain, and keep, a position. We also work with job developers to create a plan for cultivating dynamic relationships with employers that will create job placements and vocational skill development opportunities in a variety of industries.
Mentoring relationships are proven to increase success for individuals and families transitioning out of poverty. Our “Connections to Living” curriculum puts mentoring at the core of the program and offers training and engagement activities for mentors to work both individually and in mentor groups with participants and staff. Local staff are trained to act as mentor coordinator and trainer and will be equipped with tools to offer ongoing support to volunteer mentors.
Utilizing community volunteers builds program capacity while expanding the social network of support for participants. We provide training and materials for developing a thriving volunteer program including strategies around recruitment, screening, placement, training, retention and recognition of volunteers in all areas of the program.
