The ROC & Connections to Success in Columbia, MO
COLUMBIA, MO — The Connections to Success (CtS) Central Missouri team attended the celebratory grand opening of the new The Reentry Opportunity Center (The ROC) location in Columbia, MO on Tuesday, September 7. The ROC is a source of educational and health resources for those formerly incarcerated.
CtS will continue its established partnership with The ROC by monthly hosting its in-person Pathways to Success Program there, and Michael Eanes, a CtS Peer Support Specialist, will have a workspace in this facility, to inform, register, and connect with program participants.
During the event, Eanes gave a speech about Trauma Informed Care, plus he and CtS Central MO Project Director, Chelsea Zabski, met MO Governor Mike Parson, and the Director of the MO Department of Corrections, Anne Precythe, who both spoke of supporting and providing hope to justice involved individuals, and the organizations that serve them.
