After spending 32 years in a jail cell, Vicky was released from prison. The day she came home, her parole officer told her, “People like you don’t even make it out here 30 days.” On the 30th day, Vicky realized she was still out. On the 60th day, she realized the same. On the 90th day, Vicky called her parole officer to say, “I’m still here. I’m not going back.”
